About the Conference

MENA region is characterised by its strategic geographical location at the crossroads of Europe, Africa, and Asia. Besides, its abundant natural resources which have made it a magnet for foreign investment. This fact has intensified competition among companies within the region and broadened its international competitiveness. The strong competitiveness and the global changes, with the appearance of new and advanced practices specially the digital and technological revolution which is featured by the AI application in business environment, push the companies worldwide to adapt these new practices. In order to be adapted with these changes, MENA companies should invest and develop the new techniques and technologies to keep their market share and obtain new competitive advantage. However, cultural characteristics, legal differences, and cognitive, technical, and data requirements may present barriers to have advantage of AI applications in the business world. This adoption has contributed to changing the business landscape, which has emerged at the level of commercial transactions and the company’s logistical supply. It has also penetrated all the company's functions, including strategic management, marketing, human resources management, production management, and financial management, to make its performance indicators higher and to enhance the decision-making process. Accordingly, the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Applications in Business Adminstration (ICAIABA) is scheduled for April 13-14, 2026 in Biskra, Algeria. ICAIABA will be organized by the Faculty of economics, commerce, and management sciences in the University of Biskra (Algeria), to provide an opportunity for researchers, delegates, and students to interact and share their experience and knowledge in AI.

Notes For Author-both face to face and online conference

  • Presentation Timing: A full paper is usually allocated 12 minutes for presentation followed by 3 minutes of questions from the audience. The track chair will keep an eye on the time and alert you when time is beginning to run short. Please note that we actively encourage constructive questions from the audience. Your co-operation in bringing your presentation to a close within the time specified is essential to the smooth running of the conference and to be fair to other presenters.
  • Presentation : The ICAIABA requests that PowerPoint presentations be sent in good time so that they can be uploaded onto the conference laptop. Please email these with your name and the conference that you are due to present and axe of the paper at icaiaba@univ-biskra.dz. It is also a sensible precaution to make sure that you hold a copy of your presentation with you. Any presentation that has not been submitted in time will not be pre-loaded and remain the responsibility of the presenter.
  • Q & A Session: After each session, a live Q & A session will start, and the Session Chair will moderate this. This session is limited to only 15 minutes. Therefore, a limited number of questions will be accepted. (All participants who join online are requested to submit questions by using the Chat option during the presentation before the Q & A session starts. When you send the question (s), please ensure to indicate the Name of the presenter, slide number (if any) and the questions).
  • Breaks: Due to the nature of the conference, as it takes place both face to face and virtually, it is important that we take a short break after each session for 20 minutes.
  • Virtual Participation: Virtual participation is only allowed for foreign participants.
  • Punctuality -As this is a hybrid conference (face to face and virtual conference), please ensure that you join all the conference sessions espicialy your session according to type of your participation (face to face or virtual sessions), promptly and are aware of the order of speakers from the conference proceedings. Please allow extra time to join online and wait for the session to start.
  • Your Name and Name of the affiliation (Only for virtual attendees): All participants are requested to type their Name and the Name of the Institution when they join the google meet conference so that we will be able to recognise you immediately.
  • Photography (for virtual presentation): Screenshots will be taken for various sessions, and such screenshots may be used in post-conference publicity and on future marketing materials.
  • Recording (For virtual presentation): The whole session or part of the session will be recorded and may be used for internal and external purposes.
  • Conduct: In the event of inappropriate online behavior by any participants in the view of the Organiser, the participant may be removed from the session and excluded from the conference without refund or compensation.
  • Certificates will be issued after the conclusion of all conference events. For virtual participants, scanned copies of their certificates will be sent to them via email.
  • Authorship: Presenters have a moral obligation to acknowledge all contributions to their paper, both orally at the time of presentation and by referencing authors in papers submitted.
  • Authors may be asked to reformat their papers to meet the requirements for publication as a proceedings book in Atlantis Press. Also authors are not allowed to publish their papers elsewhere after they have been published as a proceedings book by Atlantis Press.

Review Process

Overview

All papers submitted to the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Applications in Business Administration (ICAIABA 2026) will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure quality, originality, and relevance of the research..

The reviewing procedure is conducted through a peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain concealed throughout the process. (The Organizing Committee is responsible for anonymizing the papers before sending them to the reviewers.)

Conditions of Acceptance

  • ✔ Each paper may include up to three (3) authors.
  • ✔ Papers must be written in English only.
  • ✔ Originality is required: submitted papers must not be published or under consideration elsewhere.
  • ✔ Papers must not exceed 10 pages, including figures and references. This page limit is strictly enforced to comply with the formatting requirements of our official publisher, Atlantis Press (part of Springer-Nature).
  • ✔ Furthermore, all submissions should adhere to the required Springer formatting guidelines..
Review Steps
1. Initial Screening

The editorial committee will verify that the submitted paper complies with the conference guidelines, matches the conference themes and topics, and meets the required academic standards.

2. Peer Review

If the paper passes the initial screening, it will be peer-reviewed by the technical program committee members, where each paper will be reviewed by three (3) reviewers at least according to a single peer review process.

3. Evaluation Criteria
    Reviewers will assess each submission based on the following criteria:
  • The scientific quality and methodological rigor of the research.
  • The contribution and significance of the work to the field of business administration and AI.
  • The relevance of the topic to the MENA region and to the conference themes.
  • The clarity, coherence, and organization of the manuscript.
4. Decision

Acceptance decisions (accept, accept with minor/major revisions, or reject) will be made by the conference Program Committee Chairs based on reviewers’ recommendations.

5. Final Submission
  • Authors of accepted papers will be required to submit a final revised version incorporating all required corrections.
  • Only papers presented at the conference will be included in the official proceedings.
